A Fall Family Tradition

This past weekend we headed out into the valleys of California for a fall family tradition that is one of my favorite things to do every year! We went to Bates Nut Farm to spend the day............
in the pumpkin patch!!!
Looking for the perfect pumpkins to carve into Jack-o-lanterns this Halloween!
We searched through mounds of pumpkins.......... and finally found three perfect pumpkins to bring home!
The boys enjoyed the farm and all the fun things they got to do!

Holding a "giant squash" was "really neat!"
And running around the straw maze looking for the 8 stamps was great fun!
The tractor ride through the fields was a huge hit!!!
And playing in the rows of corn was lots of fun!
We had a great day on the farm and enjoyed the Southern California "fall weather"!!
We hope you are having a wonderful fall season and enjoying your own fall family traditions!
Until next time..............
love from San Diego

Looks like a blast! I can't wait to take John pumpkin picking, and I know he'll be excited to see that Jack and Nick did it, too. You have some great photos.
