A "Hole" New Look!!!

Since the day Jack was born his smile would always melt my heart!!!
His first smiles were all gums and I just thought that it was the greatest smile in the world!!!
As the years passed that smile was filled with lots of baby teeth!! I know I'm a little bias but his little smile could light up the room!!!And I've gotten very used to looking at this face with that smile everyday!!!
Well, all that changed on Monday when I picked him up from school and he looked at me with this smile.................
Yes, my Jack has lost his first tooth!!! He was so excited! It happened at school right after lunch when Jack pulled his own tooth out while sitting at his desk! Mrs. Barker said the look on his face when he realized that he pulled it out was priceless! Oh, how I wish I could have seen that!!!

Here it is that little baby tooth............
Jack was so excited going to bed Monday night! He finally got to use his Tooth Fairy pillow!!!
He signed his name to the bottom of his Tooth Fairy note and we marked on the back of the note the date so we would always remember what day he lost his first tooth!!!
He put his little tooth into a little bag....................
He loved getting his tooth ready for the Tooth Fairy..............
There it is all ready for the Tooth Fairy to come and make her first visit to our house!!!
In the morning Jack was very excited to look and see if the Tooth Fairy had come to see him. Would she take his tooth and leave him anything for it? Of course she did!!! He was very excited to see that the Tooth Fairy left him $5.00 for that first little tooth!!!
My baby is growing up and it is such an exciting time!!!
Now I have to get use to looking at this smile!!!
And again I know I'm a little bias but that toothless smile melts my hearts and lights up a room!!!
Until next time............
love from San Diego

How exciting to lose your first tooth! And what a great Tooth Fairy!
I can't wait to see the smile when the two top teeth are missing. :)
